Listed by The Trail Conservancy

About

Join The Trail Conservancy’s Park Operations team to weed, water, and fertilize plants along the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail– no experience necessary!

Our volunteer events are free and open to anyone 16 and older. Each event is designed to make a meaningful impact, and space is limited. If you register but can no longer attend, please cancel your spot so that someone on the waitlist can join. (How to cancel a GivePulse registration)

Know Before You Go:

  • Where to meet: Event locations vary depending on where help is needed most. Registered volunteers will receive an email with the exact meeting point and parking details before the event. Possible sites include:
    • Rainey Street Trailhead
    • Holly Shores
    • Other maintenance and restoration sites
  • What to Bring and Wear: We’ll provide gloves and tools—you just need to come prepared with:
    • Closed-toed shoes
    • Long pants
    • Sun protection (sunglasses and a hat)
    • A full water bottle
