About

GSI Planting

The Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration.

Volunteers will learn about rain gardens, their importance to our Trail, and how to plant and maintain them. TTC will provide materials, gloves, and extra water for volunteers.

Event Details:

  • Meeting Location: Auditorium Shores - Please look for an orange TTC tent or sail flag.
  • Parking Information: Free parking and street parking are available at the Auditorium Shores parking lot and along Riverside Drive.
  • What to bring and wear: Wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and sun protection (sunglasses and a hat). Bring a filled water bottle. TTC will provide gloves and tools for the event.
