Come on out to the Think Trees Tour at the Roy and Ann Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail!

Event Details:

  • Meeting Location: Festival Beach - Please look for TTC's orange tent on the lawn west of the Nash Hernandez Monument.

    • Weather Appropriate Clothing
    • Sun Protection - Hats & Sunglasses
    • Filled Water Bottle
    • TTC will provide extra water & snacks for participants

On this one-of-a-kind tour, participants will discover more about the native and noteworthy trees and woody plants that live on and support the banks of Lady Bird Lake. On this guided walk, Rachel Caldwell Hill & Tree Ambassadors from Austin Climate Action and Resilience, will engage participants in how the original inhabitants of this region interacted with local trees and relied on their relationships with the land for food, medicine, livelihood, social life, and more.
